04/02/2010 - UKIVA Seminars At VTX Exhibition
Exhibition Preview: VTX 2010, 27 -28 April 2010, NEC, Birmingham, UK
Stand No: 1664

The UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) will once again be running a series of free seminars at the VTX Exhibition. Entitled “Vision for the future – Next generation solutions for Manufacturing”, the seminars will feature a mixture of product orientated presentations, case studies, industry-based seminars and a session dedicated to introducing vision for machine builders.

UKIVA consultant, Don Braggins, commented: “The particular seminar format that we are running has proved to be particularly popular over the last couple of years and we are grateful that one of our members, IMVE, is once again organizing the ‘Case Studies’ session, where visitors will be able to hear how vision is solving problems in industry”. “The emphasis is on non-commercial presentations, although there will be the opportunity to catch up on all the latest product offerings from UKIVA members”, he continued.

Product presentation sessions will take place on the morning of April 27th with the case studies in the afternoon. The industry based seminars will take place on the morning of April 28th and will focus on the capabilities of vision in industries as diverse as print and packaging, medical and pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and automotive. In the afternoon, UKIVA members will be presenting 20 minute sessions showing how vision can benefit machine builders.

The full seminar programme will be available on the UKIVA website, www.ukiva.org. Since these seminars are free, pre-registration is strongly recommended, and registrations can be made on-line, or by contacting Jennie Harris (jennie@ukiva.org ).
